Hi, the freezer compartment works basically ok but...

Hi, the freezer compartment works basically ok but the food is not totally frozen. Inside the fridge itself does not keep the food all that cold anymore. When I dismantled the rear of the inside of the freezer there was ice build upon the pipes etc. Can you help me out? and is it something I can fix myself without to many drama's?
