I changed out the disposal and I forgot to punch out the drain plug. I punch out the drain for dishwasher on disposal. The dishwasher did not drain and I had standing water in bottom of the dishwasher. I unplugged the dishwasher and plugged back in and the dishwasher drained and stop working at that point. Any help would be appreciated.

0 Good Morning Jimmy, I understand that you are having trouble with your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EIDW6105GB1. I see that you changed out your disposal and forgot to punch out the plug, causing your dishwasher to not drain. Then, after realizing you didn’t punch the plug, you knocked it out. The dishwasher drained but will not work now. I see that you already reset your appliance by unplugging it and plugging it back in. I suggest resetting it again, only this time, leave it unplugged for at least 20-30 minutes. When you bring power back to it, if you are still noticing that it is not working, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance.
