My dishwasher does not have hot water nor a dry cy...

My dishwasher does not have hot water nor a dry cycle operative so the dishes do not come out hot and dry, and if there is any grease, it stays on the pan. What do I need to do to fix the problem. The manual says nothing about this problem.
