My AEG pressure cooker does not reach the desired ...

My AEG pressure cooker does not reach the desired pressure just beeps and goes onto warm, I have followed the instructions etc is there anything else I need to know? I tried to make a beef stroganoff put the beef plus liquid approximately 700g beef in for 15 minutes however did to have much luck after a few mins it beeped and went onto warm?
