This upright freezer keeps turning off by itself expelling water. When I unplug and replug it comes back on. It's barely 5 yrs old. This has happened several times. I caught it everytime, thank God cause its full of food! I need a manual to troubleshoot the problem.

0 Hello dulacu - Have you recently cleaned the condenser coils? You may do so by removing the toe grilled (located on the bottom of the unit) and use an extended vacuum attachment or condenser cleaning brush to remove dust buildup. Also trying checking and see if the door seal is bad; place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and the door. Now close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocking by anything stopping it from closing. Do you hear the compressor running? The compressor is constantly meant to go on and off frequently to keep unit at a constant temperature. If you do not, the refrigerator could possibly have a coolant leak or an issue with the internal sealed system including a faulty compressor or evaporate fan. Should all troubleshooting measures fail, I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to further diagnosis the freezer. You can often locate a qualified technician by visiting the manufacturer website.
