Question About Electrolux Oven EOB53000

Despite following manual instructions to reset our oven clock is making a continual noise and wont advance past 1200. The oven works still but noise is still present. It will go quiet for a while if reset to a different time but as soon as it hit s 1200 the noise resumes. Is this a known fault and is there an easy fix?
