I made pizza in the oven and put aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven to catch any cheese that melted. The foile melted into the bottom of the oven. How do I get it off

0 Hello kbedois - I regret to hear that aluminum foil was placed in the oven as this is recommended not to do in the Owner's Guide. The truth behind this is that the aluminum did not melt... instead the non-stick Teflon coating they put on the aluminum acted like an insanely strong epoxy that bonded to the oven bottom and aluminum. Vinegar might help remove the aluminum as it is very acidic but unfortunately it will not completely come off.
