The over turns itself off after a short while. Can I not switch it on, set the temperature and turn it off when I am ready. The manual seems to suggest that you have to pre-determine the length of cooking time at the outset. There does not seem to be a way of cooking manually. Sorry to trouble you. The oven belongs to an elderly friend and I promised to try and find out for her. Many thanks in anticipation

4 I have the same problem with my cooker, it is the thermal cut-out for the cooling fan that is at fault in my case. This a small blue capsule about 20cm long with four wires going into to it, two white and two blue. Check for burning of the plastic case. Isolate the cooker and remove the cooker and metal top. Costs about £25. Steve
