I just purchased a 10 qt Elite Electric Pressure cooker and tried to use it for the first time today. The pressure valve spitted and spouted during the whole process and it counted down from 12 and then bb showed on the display and it went to warming. I tried 3 times to reset the seal and the valve. The book showed the meat needed to cook for 45 minutes. Could something be wrong with the cooker because a roast couldn't cook in that short of time period.
