Take back off & remove main fan you see on heat sink. Take old fan & go to computer parts store & buy 92mm cooling fan (12volt). Fan should be a super quiet fan w/ good quality bearings-around $10. Make sure black wire is on left of the connector & red wire on right. Took abt 45 mins to fix.

0 I had the same problem and got mine working. I first removed the back panel. Then removed the 4 screws holding the heat sink assembly....remove very slowly-there is a small two wire connector running between the heat sink assembly and the internal fan. in my case the fan wire was NOT connected. I carefully reconnected the plug, put everything back, plugged it in and it works! hope this helps.

0 Thanks bro! Been looking for what type of fan to replace it with online for an hr now. I knew the problem but am not paying 40 bucks for a new fan that's on back order.
