Question About Emerson Ice Maker IM90
add water indicator...

I have followed the manual steps, but everytime i turn the machine back on after adding water it sounds like it is trying to pump water, then the add water lite comes on again.....HELP

1 There is nothing in the manual about this, but there is a little insert strainer in the drain hole inside the water bin. Use your fingernail and gently work this until it comes out. It is the smaller ring on the drain. It looks like a strainer and I would bet that it is very clogged. Clean it out, put it back in and viola I bet it works fine now. Too bad they didn't tell us as mine was nasty!
