Hello, received the Emerson portable icemaker IM90...

Hello, received the Emerson portable icemaker IM90t as a gift. There was no instruction manual with it. I am unsure of the procedure to fill it with water. Also the tray with the door is free swinging in the down position, is this normal? Thanking you in advance for any help you can provide
