Question About Emerson Ice Maker IM90
Need swivel ice making tray...

Ice making swivel tray is cracked I need replacement. if you have a dead unit with OK swivel tray please let me know

5 This seems to be the most common failure for this unit.. I attempted many times to glue the motor half moon drive shaft. but nothing worked. So I refabricated the attachment with a screw attached metal tab with allen set screew for the moter shaft.

5 Go to the hardware store; buy two $.25 steel snap rings that will fit tightly over the broken hub that the motor fits into and your problem will be solved! You will need the proper snap ring plyers to put these on.

4 This is so stupid I think that Emerson should do a re call on this product, because it is a totally inferior part and it always breaks down. I found a great place that has the part in stock and it arrives in a few days very easy to replace.

0 I agree on a recall I just saw that Target stores still sells the whole unit for $108 on sale this week. I have tried contacting Emerson but they stated they do not support any owner parts. I went to the offered link repair clinic but I did not find any IM90 ice maker parts ??

0 I also have a cracked tray and I am so disappointed in Emmerson!!! Also did not come with any paper work or manual.Must have been made in China. Emmerson should stand behind their product.
