4 Ice maker won't make ice, it's only been in use 5 or 6 months .Need help figuring out why it will not make ice. Has water, is plugged in and turned on. HELP!!!!!

0 I have had ice maker less than 1 year and it is putting out gas fumes that is making me sick. What is wrong with this machine ?
