Question About Emerson Microwave Oven MW8992-RD
1100W Microwave oven & Grill...

Your owners maunual stinks. I don't understand how to use the element and grill. No recipes given. just a poor manual.

1 I'm pretty disappointed too. It seems such a good idea, but there is nothing in the manual, and surprisingly nothing on the internet. Way to go, Emerson.

1 It doesn't take a rocket science to figure out this appliance is for real cooks. If you need detailed instructions you should stick to regular microwaves and toaster ovens. Now for the truly interested, I have found that a casserole dish is a wonderful replacement for the rack. Seasonings and imagination perfects the dish. You will also find how much to cook and time frames in your OWNER'S MANUAL. "READ".

0 Googling for information on how to use grill rack in this product. Assume since manual does not say otherwise, to place wire rack in microwave and use as normal microwave and grill functions. I do not understand why there is no information in this generic manual and am thinking about returning it if unable to find out how to use it. I see the same question as mine listed above with no response.

0 The manual says do NOT use the rack if only microwaving, that makes sense, but the question is using the combo function (1 or 2) it dont specify that it uses microwave for a certain time period, and grilling second, or at the same time, if its at the same time how do you use the rack, that it says DONT use during microwaving only?? after a certain time frame then use rack to finish, or one complete cycle with the rack inside???
