0 I am having the same trouble with my overhead microwave oven. My husband took the screws out of the bottom panel and there sits the motor which controls the rotation of the plate. He has removed the motor and got the name of the component so we can take it to a repair shop and get a replacement. I don't know how easy it will be for you to access the motor on your microwave but it won't hurt to try as waiting for an expert response on this site might take awhile.
