Question About Emerson Microwave Oven MW8998B
No keypad entry...

The microwave won't take any entries on the keypad anymore. It only displays 0:00 on the display. The light comes on when the door is opened and the unit beeps when plugged into the wall outlet. Any one have an idea what can be wrong? The unit has very little use.

0 im haven some what of the same problem. for quick cooking 1-5 work and will run like they are suppost too, but if you open the door too stir food close the door start button does not work. start, stop/reset, clock pre-set, am/pm, and numbers 6-9 do not work. i have looked at the manual and didn't see any kind of maitenance or diagrams. im guessing i have too call them for suport. would like to know how to fix it with out haven to call them.
