I have an 289e compact that we just got a couple months ago as a replacement for a different one that didn't work. We just plugged in first time and it comes on when dial is turned to on but runs for a few minutes, shuts off and won't come on again unless you turn off and back on but only runs a couple minutes again. Grrrrr this is the second one! Sounds like a common occurrence according to internet. What can we do? We have a confirmation this next weekend that we needed it for
