Question About Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher ?

We were given a dishwasher approx 2yrs ago, was second hand then ?age Worked really well, no problems, but now it seems like the door won't quite close or catch therefore the dishwasher wont work, buttons beep etc but no action. As for the type Fisher and Payket soft touch 1 door only Hope this is helpful

0 maybe the hoses somehow got jammed behind the door -- you can probably see them from underneath by shining a flashlight when the door is fully extended. It's quite easy to remove the door -- you extend it all the way out, there are two release clips, then gently lift, and twirl counter clockwise toward the left side of the opening. you might be able to see the problem when you pull the thing out.

0 There is a little hook that locks the door shut which has probably broken off. Mine did the same and I removed the front door panel and found the bit at the bottom of the door. Removed the handle (taking note of how it goes, especially the springs!) and glued it back on. Lasted for a while...
