Question About Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher DD603
pressure limiting valve...

I have replaced an old dishwasher with a F&P DD603. The existing plumbing has a pressure limiting valve already installed on the water inlet connection. Is this valve necessary. This valve has a leak and will be replaced if necessary. Otherwise i willdispense with the valve. Please advise. Thank you
