replacing o ring at bottom arm...

model 920 nautilus after removing saftey clip at the base of the bottom arm to clean can't get the o ring right to re insert clip and machine floods

0 I have removed the pipe that holds the spray arms and am not sure exactly where to put the oring the goes between the pipe and the base. Can not get clip to go through. Please help.
