I have a F&P Fridge freezer E442b Beeps slowly when you open door light is out when you touch the temp buttons and shut the door after a while it beeps continually now the fridge part is not cooling, freezer ok.

0 Hi I have the same problem with my E442B. I was told it is the Controller. Has anyone found this to be the problem please. I can buy one for $103.50 but the service man wants $130 service fee plus labor and parts!!! Can I do it myself? I am very handy at this sort of thing.
