I haves active smart freezer down vertical fridge ...

I haves active smart freezer down vertical fridge freezer. The fridge is not cooling, but there is a build up of ice at the back of the freezer. I suspect the automatic defrost is not working, or the circulation fans may not be. Any advice please?
