After my mom used the broil/grill then pressed can...

After my mom used the broil/grill then pressed cancel to shut off, now the stove beeps and displays - F 1 - and cant get this off and oven does not go on, how do I fix this and what does this mean ?

0 Hello - Error code F1 could indicate a variety of issues. The range could possibly have a runaway temp (higher than normal temps), shorted keypad, faulty EOC or, display wire harness missing/not connected. Usually, this code means to replace the EOC. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.
