I have an electric convection oven with cooktop :gallery -FGES3065KFF . The fan is on - working (laudly) when ONLY cooktop is in use. Should the fun run only when the oven is working ? I purchased this unit in May , but it was installed last week.

5 Hello ellab1111 – Generally speaking the fan does not run when the oven is in used it should only room when you are using the cook top. It is a bit normal to hear the fan but should not be excessively loud. Since you have recently purchase the unit, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly if issues continues.
