We came home to find the oven flashing a message "F1" and making an annoying alarm. The panel is completely unresponsive to touch and we can only turn off the alarm by flipping off the electricity. What is the problem? Thank you. Having a hard time finding identifying info on the oven but found the numbers P/N318200854 (9907) in the brochure.

0 Hi cgilman555, I am happy to assist you! You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side. However, if you are getting an error code “F1” on your Frigidaire oven, it typically means that your range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to your appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about ten minutes. If the error code does not clear, at this time I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps!
