How to turn off the heat lock button because the washer will not turn on or cancel

0 Cme4jewelre, I understand that you are trying to turn off the heat lock button on your Frigidaire dishwasher, due to the fact that you are unable to turn on a cycle or cancel. 1) Press and hold the control lock button for 5-10 seconds to turn the control lock, off. If that doesn't work. 2) Press and hold the "hi-temp" icon to try and reset the whole unit at the control board. If that doesn't work. 3) Give the dishwasher a hard reset. You will do this by cutting the power off at the circuit breaker and leaving it off for 20-30 minutes. After the 20-30 minutes has passed cut the power back on. Try and start a cycle. If you are still having trouble with either turning on a cycle or canceling one out, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for assistance. They will be able to see what exactly is causing this.
