I have the Frigidaire FDB1450CHC2 dishwasher. The machine doesn't clean. When I start on normal cycle the I can hear the machine taking water then a long silence. Then the machine water drains out. It does this a few times by the sounds of it. Why isn't it cleaning?

0 Suhani, I see that your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FDB1450CHC2, is not cleaning your dishes and seems to be filling with water and then draining, as opposed to actually running through a cycle. The reason it is not cleaning could be the possibility that there is either not enough water pressure to make the spray arms turn. It could be the wash pump itself. The last thing would be that the dishwasher just needs a hard reset. You can reset the appliance by cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 20-30 minutes. Once you cut the breaker back on, after the 20-30 minutes, try to start a cycle. If you are still receiving the same issue of the water coming in and draining and the dishes not being cleaned, I suggest that you contact your local authorized technician. -Best Regards-
