I've had this dishwasher for several years and just recently a strange sound is coming from the inside of the washer. I believe it may be originating when the lower spray arm goes over a certain point in the element that gives an annoying scrapping sound. I've taken the parts out and reinstalled them and when I spin it, there is no noise. When the machine is running, there is a continual tick....tick....tick only noticable during wash and rinse cycles.
