Question About Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB510LCS0
Turned on the "High Temp Wash" and the "Heat Dry" ...

Turned on the "High Temp Wash" and the "Heat Dry" buttons and the dishwasher smelled liked burnt rubber near the end of the cycle. The protective covering over the heating element that skirts the bottom of the dishwasher was crumbling off the heating element. Do we need a new dishwasher or can this be repaired?
