the upper spray arm came off. There does not appear to be broken or cracked. When I try to push it on, the plastic receptor part just goes up into the unit. Any ideas? Jim

5 Jim, You have to unscrew the piece that the arm attaches to and put it back together and reattach. I have the same problem. Mine keeps falling off after every cycle, but nothing looks broken???

0 The upper spray arm of our Frigidaire dish washer also came off. There does not seem to be a crack or break on the arm or housing, but I am unable to reattach it. So what do I do now? Poor design I suspect. Help any one.

0 Do I need a special wrench to unscrew the star-shaped plastic piece on the inside top of the dishwasher that holds the upper spray arm? I have tried to remove it by hand, but it is too tight and I can't budge it.

0 Just removed the upper piece it attaches to. Problem fixed for now, but will see what happens after a couple more cycles. Thanks again!
