5 Is this gas or electric? Both have temp thermostats. Try swapping upper and lower thermostat? Fixed the problem? If gas can you see a flame? If electric can you see element go orange? Could be the flame sensor or igniter in gas. To tell the diff is if any flame ignites. Have 2 of the same is the blessing. Swap those parts and try each time until you eliminate the issue.
