0 Good Morning candjlemke, that’s a great question! From my understanding you need additional steps to remove the handle on your Frigidaire freezer. Typically, to remove the handles you would need to use a screwdriver, Phillips or flathead, or an Allen wrench. If you can provide me with your model number I could look up additional information to assist you. The model number can be found on the serial tag and that is located on the inside wall of your freezer. I look forward to assisting you. –OOS
