0 Hi martylucier, thank you for your post! Did your freezer previously experience a power loss? If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer will sound and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on the freezer. The alarm should go off on its own after deactivating the alarm. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, the freezer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause. Best of luck!

0 I have same problem...tried unplugging for 20 mins.....still goes off every 12 hrs. Have control set at highest setting...temp remains at 20 Fahrenheit . Is this cold enough
