the ice maker operates but dispenses sporadically....

the ice maker operates but dispenses sporadically. The shoot door opens but the spiral dispenser does not turn. Any suggestions?

0 I appreciate your post, dk! Based off the information you have provided the icemaker on your Frigidaire refrigerator is working but it is not dispensing. I understand that the dispenser door opens but the arm is not turning. From that information it could be a possible faulty motor or arm.
