0 Hello greenehome, thank you for your post! The beeper will sound once your Frigidaire microwave (FGMV174KFC) is done heating the food. For this purpose, the beeping signal cannot be deactivated and I show that the volume is not adjustable for your model. Most microwaves are preset to do this. Best regards! - Chris
