just installed some new parts via my "appliance warranty" plan; I didn't have an extra bulb for the surface light so wasn't able to see that it didn't work after the repair; is there another solution to this part not working?

0 Hi barbara.challis – If you are speaking directly about the internal light bulb in the unit and a new bulb does not prove to solve your problem, then the light socket and/or the door switch that triggers the bulb to light needs to be assessed by a professional. Typically, if you have an appliance warranty this should be covered. In most cases technicians warranty their work for 30 days and would require only a follow up visit to correct your concerns.
