0 Hello Joseph – I understand that you’re microwave is inoperable. Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like more than likely the loose door has caused a problem with the door switch or door switch mount not allowing the unit to heat or function properly. If it's intermittent or random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder, or even an intermittent fuse or faulty magnetron or high/low capacitor. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.
