1 Hello chuckdar83, that’s a great question! Your Frigidaire microwave, FMV145KS2 has a SURFACE LIGHT pad available to control the display light. Typically you have the option to press the pad once for bright light and twice for the night light. Pressing the SURFACE LIGHT three times will turn the light off. If you feel the light is too dim, please contact a local service provider for a physical assessment of your microwave and diagnosis. There is no way to tell if your appliance needs adjusting, etc., without physically looking at your appliance. Alternatively, you can reach out to the manufacturer to locate one near you.
