Question About Frigidaire Microwave Oven FMV156DS
won't turn or cook...

The lights, clock, and fan work, but the thing won't cook or the turntable won't turn.

0 On my FMV156DSA, I could set the timer, press start, and the timer would count down, the cook light was on, but the turntable wouldn't turn. If I pushed up on the handle, it would start to work. I took a flat washer and wedged it underneath the bottom hinge, and that worked for awhile. I knew it had to be one of the 3 door switches. I ended up buying p/n 5304440026. Turned out to be the bottom switch. Has lasted for 2 weeks without acting up yet. $24 for parts sure beats $240 for new Microwave
