The lights, clock, and fan work, but the thing won't cook or the turntable won't turn. Where is the fuse inside located and how do I get to it? Perhaps that is the problem?

5 My oven did the same several months ago. I took it apart and found a switch, that the door operates, had melted. There were two identical switches inside, I put the good one in place of the bad one and bingo. Unfortunately for me it just burned out the good switch last night. The part number is stamped on the side of the switch and can be orderd for a few dollars, I don't know, I may just buy a better microwave and not deal with the inconvienience. $269 for LG in stainless at HD.

5 Last night I used it at dinner time. Two hours later I went to heat something and it would not operate. Fan, light inside and under worked as well as the control panel but the turn table would not work nor would it heat anything, Example, put something in, set it for two minutes, the time would count down but nothing would happen inside. Would this be the same problem as the people above had and is there anything we can do about it? Thanks.

0 The "won't cook" when everything else works is the same repetitive problem I have had. It is the door latch alignment. We have had service twice. The "fix" lasts as long as 2-3 months. I recommend a new oven -- much less frustrating!

0 i had athe same problem and went an dbought a new one, when were taking down the old onne it started to work again! it was something to do with the door, try pushing up on the door after you close it and see if that works- thats all mine took!

0 Frigidaire microwave FMV156DSB. Turntable don't turn and no heat. Clock, keypad, light and fan works. The guys above looks like they right about either the door or the switches for the latch. This model does have two switches and a fusible switch. Pushing up a bit on the oven door from the bottom right corner when its closed make mine turn on if you set it to cook. Switches numbered 8(x2) on the schematic has part number 5304440026 $18.05. Fusible switch has part number 5303319559 $30.36. Have'nt changed them because it may be the door hinge is bent since the door latch is made out of plastic. Also looks like a real pain to take apart just to get to the switches. I will try to bend the door hinge to see if it fixes it.
