I used both my stovetop and my oven tonight. Now I have an "F-10" message where it usually shows the temp. What does this mean?

5 The f10 code is caused by the runaway temperature. Check the resistance across the oven temperature probe(oven temp sensor) terminals at the EOC (electronic oven control) plug. it should be 1100 ohms at room temp. If that is wrong, then measure the oven temp probe resistance at the probe plug. If it's wrong then replace the oven temperature probe. If the readings at the EOC and then oven temp probe are different check the wire harness between the probe and the EOC. If there is nothing wrong with the oven temp probe then replace the EOC

0 Hi shine943, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Typically error code F10 indicates that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let’s try reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the unit on. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps!
