Question About Frigidaire Oven 316000642
oven door lock...

mistakenly turned temp knob to clean and then opened door . lock engaged before door closed now oven door won't close because the lock mechanism is in cleaning mode.

0 Had the same problem. Hold the button that is depressed when the door is closed (it also operates the light), then set the oven to clean, wait 30 seconds, then turn the knobs back to off. The lock should retract.
