I have a front element that i changed out about 6 months ago, it is the burner and electrical harness i replaced. I spliced in the new wire harness and everything worked OK untill a few days ago when i heard a popping sound from the element. Checked the element and found the wires had melted away from element disconnect. Bought electrical harness at Lowes, universal brand. The range is about 5 years old. All the other heating elements are fine. Any sugesstions?
