How do I check the oven pilot light and ensure it is lit? We just moved into a house with this appliance and our oven smells like gas when we turn it on.

0 Thank you for your post, jessikaleafernandez! I understand that your Frigidaire range is not lighting when you turn it on and you would like to know the location of the pilot light. Within a new range there is not a pilot light there is an electronic igniter. If you smell gas the igniter may not be starting or the burner could be faulty as well. In order to properly test each component you need to disassemble the range and this is best done by a certified professional. If you do not have a contact for a technician you can visit the manufacturer’s website for further assistance. Hopefully this is helpful. –OOS
