0 Hello mhamm07, thank you for your post! Generally, error code 4 means that your refrigerator is experiencing an issue with the damper. The damper is either not opening or closing properly. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to your appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, the wiring between the damper and Main Control Board will need to be diagnosis. Depending on the results, either the damper or Main Control Board will need replacing.
