0 Hello wffloors , To begin ice production in many units, to include yours, lower the wire signal arm to the DOWN or ON position. The ice maker turns off automatically when the ice container becomes full. To stop the ice maker, raise the wire signal arm until it clicks and locks in the UP or OFF position. This should be displayed in your Owner's Manual on approximately page 14. If you need a copy of the Manual please visit the manufacturer's site at www.Frigidaire.com, and download from the Customer Support section. Hope this helps!
