Question About Frigidaire Refrigerator None
Ice is always dispensed crushed, not cubed...

Problem developed where we select cubed ice from the dispenser settings. However, we continually get crushed ice instead. I played with the buttons, but nothing is correcting the problem. Any suggestions on how to correct are appreciated. .....Thanks

4 Hi jfrey007 - I see you are having difficulty changing the type of ice that is coming out of your refrigerator. Below are instructions on how to adjust this. 1. Take out the ice bin to access the switch in the freezer. 2. Underneath the ice bin is a metal rod. 3. In the back of the freezer there is a square hole from where the rod came. Put your finger in this hole. 4. You should feel a plastic lever. If it's up, push it down. If it's down, push it up. 5. Put the ice bin back and try for ice again. You should receive crushed and cubed ice at this time. 6. If you push the lever up or down and it doesn't stay in place you should contact an authorized service technician for repair. If the instructions above do not solve the problem, I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition.
