0 Hi cherokee624, thank you for your inquiry! There are a couple of factors that can cause this issue on the dispenser of your side by side refrigerator. The refrigerator could possibly have a faulty valve, dispenser control board and/or failed water valve diode. Also it is recommended for the water filter to be change approximately every six to nine months depending on how often you used the water dispenser. Otherwise, it may be time for the filter to be change and the light did not come on. If the abovementioned suggestions do not resolve your issue and you feel that there may be some other issue occurring, feel free to go to the manufacture website where you can easily locate a service provider in your area.
