5 Hello reynaldo983,thank you for your inquiry! Typically error code SY CE, is commonly referred with an issue between the main control board and the user interface (the control on the Freezer door). A tech would typically check the communication wiring wires between both parts to determine the cause of the error code. If the wiring is correct, then more than likely you are looking at a faulty main control board or user interface. Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would highly recommend reaching out to an expert technician to ensure the appropriate replacement part is ordered and is installed correctly to prevent future issues. 1 I will never purchase a Frigidaire again! My LED was reading SY CE...mind you this one is only 20 months old. I called for a repair company to come out but as I researched the code, I read several tomes to unplug your refrigerator for at least 15 mins. I did and to my surprise it started working. I hurried and called to cxl my appointment repair-Thank goodness b/c it was going to cost in the ballpark of $250...Let's hope it continues to stay functioning!

0 Thanks Sher.  I unplugged for 5 minutes (why would they recommend 15?).  All good now.
